Ayurveda : Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow (part-2)

Today the society has gone more demanding for ayurveda medicine and ayurveda practices. Society, after nearly a period of 60-70years, treating their body with chemicals, have started repenting on their ask for quick remedies for frequently suffered conditions, and self limiting conditions. Many companies like kottakal Ayurveda, Himalaya, Amil pharmaceuticals etc have come up with very new dosage forms and have shown very excellent research in pharmaceutical and pharmacognosy related research – bhaishjya kalpana and rasa shashtra related researches. In practice, mostly vaidya’s have started using extract of drugs rather than only raw, dried powder form.
